site in Cardiff and membership is available for staff – together with their
spouses/partners and children – who are employed either by
Cardiff and Vale
University LHB or Cardiff University. Currently
the Sports & Social Club has in excess of 3,200 members.

Times Membership Card Swipe System
The Club has introduced our Membership
Card Swipe System. It will be necessary for Members to carry their Membership Cards at all times and report to the Receptionist to gain entry to the Sports
Complex. For Members paying via salary/wage deductions, your Membership will automatically continue on a month-by-month rolling renewal until such time as you leave the Paying Authority or you provide the Club with one month’s written notice of your intention to cancel. For Members who pay one annual payment in advance, Membership can be renewed on the same basis, but you will need to renew within 14 days of expiry. Loyalty points - Bonus to Members!! The Card Swipe System has also been introduced into the Bar area. Members with a valid, current Membership Card can receive special, discounted prices on drinks and food, plus they will receive 5% Loyalty Points on all purchases in the Bar area. These can be redeemed against future drink and food purchases in the Bar area. All Loyalty Points must be redeemed by 31st October each year. (N.B. A valid, current Membership Card must be produced at the Bar to receive and redeem Loyalty Points.)

Fees: Full Membership = £76.00 (Full Member's Spouse Membership = £60.50);
Retired-Membership £60.50 (N.B. you must be of retirement age with 5 years continuous
Membership
prior to retirement);
Student Membership £60.50 (full-time, grant-assisted students);
Other = £86.00 (Spouse = £60.50);
Other Retired* £60.50 (*65 years and over, applies to male or female)
Salary Deducted Fees**: Monthly = £6.25; Weekly = £1.45.

will not be reduced during the year.
TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP
Note: Temporary Membership will only be issued to staff/students who are on
short-term contracts.
Proof of contract must be shown when each application is

Weekly* = £3.00 (*This is a special concession for any person working/studying
within recognised
Health Boards/Trusts/Institutions for a short period.)

Booking Facilities
Facilities can be booked and paid for
by Members only up to seven days in advance commencing 10.00am
daily.
A current Membership Card must be produced at the Reception Desk and
payment is not required until the date you play but if
you fail to pay, or do not take up the CONTRACTED BOOKING, the Member WHO BOOKED
will be BILLED RETROSPECTIVELY for the FULL AMOUNT plus £1.00 ADMINISTRATION
FEE*.
Guests (including children) are required to pay the appropriate Facility
Usage Fee plus Daily Guest Fee.
(*This policy change has been made for
Member's convenience and your co-operation in ensuring it's success will be
appreciated.)
